Why Katie Hopkins’ “Three Simple Questions” Are None Of Those Things.

When a person — or, failing that, Katie Hopkins — talks about “simple questions,” what they really mean is “a simple question with a simple answer.” These usually fall into yes/no, left/right, hot/cold territories.

“Is it raining out?” or “Would you like a drink?” are good examples of these, and it isn’t, but I would.

“Why didn’t YOU stop 9/11?!” meanwhile is, on the face of it, a simple question. But the answers, whilst valid, are many and complicated.
